This weeks fear challenge was something that I can’t even explain how much it meant to me that I was able to do this. Younger Sara would be so amazed and proud, I remember when I was in school and would have to take anxiety pills for presentations, my voice would shake and I would be covered in sweat. I remember the amount of events and experiences that I’ve missed out on and had to skip because I was too anxious to go. This is such a huge achievement for me and a step in the right direction of challenging my fears. I know that living with anxiety can be unbearable and it may seem like there are certain things in life that you’ll never be able to do because of your anxiety, but you’d be surprised with how much we are capable of when we take small steps (and I mean smalllll steps) to begin challenging those fears. A year ago I couldn’t make phone calls, I got panic attacks when I left my apartment and couldn’t be around a group of strangers comfortably (this was amplified due to isolation during the pandemic). HERE IS TO GROWTH and OVERCOMING FEARS. What is a mini challenge you can do to begin challenging your fears in the upcoming week? If you end up doing a challenge, please come back here and let me know how you did and what you did!! We’re in this together and we’re going to support each other. . Massive thank you to @Lounge for having me. A huge thank you to Alex and Meg, you guys made my experience so lovely and it was so incredible meeting you in person <3 . . . #fearchallenge #challengingfears #anxiety #anxietyawareness #lounge #koungeunderwear #anxietyattack #panicattacks
