I had some issues last tour with my Yamaha Silent Bass. The pickup, which was housed in a strange place(but more on that later) when out. Replacing that pickup while on tour, thanks to my amazing tech Tim Springett, yielded the same results. And between the two of us, we felt that the pickup could be in a better place. So.... I sent her to my friends down at @lemurmusic. Their luthier Jason Brown(@doughray) really made this bass come alive. Not only did he put in a new pickup(which he had to wire to the existing preamp), but he also did a killer set up on it. Got the fingerboard feeling like butter. It’s playing and sounding like a dream. If you can, I highly suggest you check out the shop and if you need work done a bass, go see them!!!
