Their reply must not have been at all positive, as can be deduced from a new letter that Miró wrote to them on 9 April, in which he reaffirmed with even greater confidence his desire and intention to earn a living as an artist. · 🍾 Joan Miró dedicated Painting (The bottle of wine), 1924, to his parents, as it was one of his most Surrealist works.
