Growing up, I lived in a very modest house. My older sister @farrahhoshmand and I shared a room and then when my younger sister @tanajaan was born I was booted to a room in the garage out in the backyard where my dad had stored all of his wine. One night I couldn't fall asleep so I started gazing at these foreign looking objects. The bottles were situated in an old wine rack directly next to my bed, so I started admiring the bottles every night from afar, until one night I was bored and decided to take a closer look. I took out a bottle and read the label - from France, another from Italy, another from Chile, and so on.. So naturally as a kid I reorganized the entire wine rack by country, not by varietal because I had no idea what the difference between a cabernet or pinot was at the time. Fast forward to 2017 the admiration for wine continued and I opened up The Cellar- A Wine Library and as a testament to my father I made the entire wine list of close to 1,000 bottles listed by country and not by varietal. I had a few customers take offense to my unorthodox methods, but I didn't care; as it reminded me of how my love for wine all began. Now in 2021, years later, I am blessed to have my own label Leo Temory, a Pinot Noir from Paso Robles. It is juicy, with delicious fruit and spice notes, smooth textures and well integrated tannins, making it as lovely as it is delicious. . When you open a bottle it smells like you are in a farmhouse in the south of France. It is as much me as it is a wine, From hand picking the grapes to the pressing process and from designing the label to bottling the wine I was there every step of the way and I am beyond proud to come full circle and feature this wine at The Cellar.- A Wine Library. So to have a little fun, I wanna play a game. Since I have only made 2400 bottles this time around, I am thinking of a number from 1 to 2400 and whoever is closest wins some Leo Temory 2019!
