Watching Sarah Lancashire, the British OBE who plays Julia Child with bewildering deft, in “Julia,” prompted me to find my portrait of Julia Child and Martha Stewart from 1995. The resemblance is beyond eerie, and Ms. Lancashire’s haunting performance completely evokes Julia Child.
