IN HONOR OF NATIONAL BAGEL DAY, WE’RE INTRODUCING STARSHIP BAGEL’S ADORABLE NEW LOCATION, SOFT OPENING TODAY! 🥯☕️ How cute is this?! We stopped by the new walk-up bagel shop, @starshipbagel, and are so excited to share the deets on what you can expect for all those who live, work, and visit downtown! BACKGROUND Starship Bagel was founded by local Oren Salomon in his kitchen when he just needed a good bagel! He started making his own and inviting his friends over, and no one could get enough! After too much demand and not enough supply, he started making them out of a church’s kitchen, and opened his first brick and mortar in Lewisville over a year ago! They pride themselves on serving the masses thru fast service. They slice and schmear in a couple of minutes, so you’ve got something really good, really fast! BAGELS Inspired by New York-style bagels, Starship offers a variety of flavors, from everything, cinnamon raisin, french toast, za’atar to pretzel. There’s also long list of shmears made in-house, both dairy and vegan! Enjoy the same sandwiches as the Lewisville location, with a menu focused around fresh veggies, mashed avocado and lox flown in from Brooklyn. COFFEE With bagels come coffee! Get your morning pick me up from drip coffee to flavored lattes brewed to perfection from @onyxcoffeelab made by @groundcontrl! DOWNTOWN LOCATION Find it beside The Eye nestled next to the Woolworth and Campisis in the paved walkway connecting Elm and Main Street. It’s the cutest walk up window with tables to sit and enjoy, and don’t forget to snap a pic with your bagel in front of the Eye! Pro tip: it’s one of the only dog friendly areas downtown! They’re soft opening today and will officially be open on 1/20!
