Chemical peel tips & products I used 👇🏼
If you’re interested in getting a chemical peel, make sure to consider the following:
✨ It’s in your best interest to see a Licensed Esthetician for a peel! Doing them yourself at home can be dangerous & unsanitary if you don’t understand the necessary protocol.
✨ Let your Esthetician know all medications you’re taking, including non-skincare related medications.
✨ Give your skin a break from exfoliants, retinols, & other actives for at least 1 week before your treatment.
✨ Avoid waxing, lasers, & other forms of hair removal for at least a week before your treatment.
✨ Avoid unprotected sun exposure *ALWAYS*, but especially the week before your treatment & 2 weeks afterwards.
✨ Avoid high-intensity workouts, steam rooms, & dry saunas for at least 5 days after your treatment.
✨ Follow the treatment plan provided by your Esthetician!
