4477 miles later ... and we made it across the country! a dream of mine since i don’t know when .. started easy in the deserts of joshua tree to sleep under the stars.. to seeing long time friends in Vegas and dipping our toes in lake powell - we headed to the town of truth or consequences in new mexico and took a nap in the white sand deserts. Oh and Marfa, where we slept in a teepee and sung some songs with a cowboy from Beaumont and some locals we met... got me a pair of boots in humble, texas to set me off on my way to louisiana where the people are friendly and the chants are heard from every bar and home. up and away all the way through the state of mississipi, we got to memphis! I love Tenessee! from visiting Graceland to strolling up and down beale st and listening to people who are all so happy with the simple pleasures of life: singing their heart out, beating the drums and strumming their guitars - i would love to spend more time there as well as Nashville - these music towns have taught me a whole lot and have inspired me greatly🫶 we only had a few days left with our car so i drove us up through lexington, kentucky and stopped for the night at the state line of west virginia off the highway in our sweet ride named ‘Hope’ - woke up at the ass crack of dawn and drove through 2 states before getting to a lake in pennsylvania to rinse off and take a break - i couldn’t put into words all all the cities in between and the people and things we’ve met and seen but it’s the best i’ve got! i’ve got music in mind and lots of things to get done in soon time..!
