So I will slowly be sharing videos from my show @54below a couple weeks ago. My first share is “Ne Me Quitte Pas” by Jacques Brel. I first came across this song about 20 years ago hearing Nina Simone sing it. I was shook. It was haunting. I was then fortunate to do the show Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris at the Stratford Festival in 2010 which reaffirmed my love for this song and all things Brel. So how could I not include it in my Debut NYC solo show. Special thanks to @mattpodd on the accordion and @liambrobinson on the keys to help transport me to Paris.
