Pride 2023 hits different this year. Like many, the violent decision to roll back our rights left me sick to my stomach, angry and ready to fight. This decision coming during the 50th anniversary of Title IX, while trans youth are under attack and at a time that our country is facing a recession is not by coincidence. It’s strategic, meant to deliberately demoralize us. It’s a disruptive distraction from the fact that we ARE the majority and we are gaining power. They will fight to the end to hold power but we will not be out organized or out strategized and we won’t go back. Thank you for calling us to the frontlines @ppact @nycpride.
