Swipe to see some bts of the process that went into designing + creating the set for the @lexiunderwood Schön! 42 Cover shoot I work very much from a place of curiosity, experimentation + ultimately throwing caution to the wind. Having set roses in a mixture of clear + dyed resin, I spray painted some of the hardened roses in a range of pastel tones. I detailed the edges of the petals with red paint I had leftover from painting my bedroom to highlight the layers of open petals. Finally, I melted crayons over the edge of the petals to give a dripping ‘water color’ effect.
