On April 26, 1985, Wilfrido Vargas was the first Dominican solo artist to perform at the new amphitheater, after being inaugurated by Frank Sinatra in 1982. This great singer-songwriter and orchestra director is one of the great Dominican musicians to whom we owe the internationalization of the "merengue" musical genre. He has won various national and international recognitions, including the award for Musical Excellence during the Latin Grammy Awards ceremony. So, obviously, he needs to be a part of the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of our Amphitheater in Altos de Chavón. Join us and dance to the rhythm of all his hits!
