I know it’s late, but wanted to say thank you for the support on “Wilt Away.” Growing up with an alcoholic father was very hard for me and honestly scary. All I wanted was a genuine relationship with my father. I wanted to have great memories and feel loved, but most of the memories were negative & still hard to talk about. I wanted to scratch the surface of my childhood and really leave the story up to the imagination. Most people unfortunately have shitty relationships with their parents and some are like me who have dealt with alcoholic abuse in their home. We aren’t able to choose our past or our childhood, but we are able to take our power back by not letting it affect our future generations.
