Zoe Leonard, Strange Fruit (for David), 1992/97. Fruit peels stitched together that haven’t been preserved, they are always changing and decomposing. The art work, dedicated to David Wojnarowicz consisted of 300 dried fruit pieces placed randomly in the gallery floor. It exists until today, now treated for conservation purposes.
