Tiramisu for holidays πŸŽ„πŸŽ…πŸ½β˜•οΈ Ingredients: - Espresso - 1.5 cups - Coffee liquor from Mr Black Spirits- .5 cups total - Mascarpone cheese - 16oz - eggs yolks - 6 - Sugar - 2/3 cup - Heavy cream - 2 cups - Vanilla extract - 2 tsp - Cocoa powder - Chocolate - Lady fingers ~ 40 Steps: - mix espresso and coffee liquor and set aside - Mix marscapone and .25 cups coffee liquor until combined (with a whisk or hand mixer) - Egg yolks and sugar and whisk until combined. Then put over double boiler (meaning bring a lot of water to a simmer and then put the bowl of eggs on top of it but not touching the water) and let it thicken (about 8-10 mins) - Once done, let’s the eggs cool and mix the mascarpone and egg yolks together and keep in the fridge to cool - Now, whip your cold cream and vanilla extract together - Fold the 2 mixtures together Assemble: 1. dip half the ladyfingers (quickly!) into the coffee mixture and layer them into a tray 2. Spread one half of the cream mixture (dusting w cocoa power is optional) 3. Repeat with the other half of ingredients 4.
