This photo is from a dance piece called Both &. For the piece, the choreographer wanted to explore the themes of culture and coming together. The goal was to experiment about what might happen if we brought all of ourselves, our culture, our story, who we are, to the table. Would would it be like if a new culture was to be birthed from a collection of different origins? Now more than ever, it’s important to remember that we’re all in this together. Remember to show kindness and patience not only to others, but also to yourself. Things are happening so quickly around us right now, and sometimes the days seem to go by slow, but none of us are alone. Don’t be afraid to reach out. There will always be an open hand nearby.
