Today is my Angel’s birthday. Even though dementia stole my Grandma’s memory and she didn’t know who I/we were, it didn’t steal her spirit, her sense of humor or her relationship with God. She loved us even when she didn’t know who we were. I watch these videos and they make me laugh and smile. I even learned that she was a rapper and a poet. Whenever I see a butterfly I think of her.
