I’m not talking about total time of labor. I’m not even talking about how long she pushed. Yet, there is that moment from when we realize “the baby is right there” and the excitement fills the room, because we know we’re going to meet this little one soon. It’s adrenaline. It’s nervousness. It’s excitement. It’s fear. It’s love. It’s tears. It’s a whole bucket of emotions. It feels like eternity, but on this day it was 7 mins and 40 secs. That’s the time it took for her twin sister to catch her niece. That’s the time for her big sister to gaze on her niece. That’s the time for her mother to become a nana.
