I was very happy to get this commission for Hugo @alldaygoods_ as a surprise birthday present from his sister Charlotte during the summer as I am big fan of what Allday are doing - making psychedelic kitchen knife handles out of plastic waste... that could be discarded fishing nets, or chopping boards, or as picture 2 explains, even washed up shampoo bottles! The blades are made in Sheffield. The idea for this one came from a knife thrower, hitting a bullseye red circle to reference Japan, world renowned knife makers - as what Hugo is aiming for is not only so on point but beautiful at the same time.
