"helpfulness towards someone in need, not in return for anything, nor for the advantage of the helper himself, but for that of the person helped". - Rhetoric (Aristotle) - Kindness, an often very small and simple gesture. One that requires little effort but can make an enormous difference for the one on the receiving end of it. With this piece I wanted to express my feelings and the concept of "kindness" and convert those into a short audio-visual journey. The work was first created last year as a still image accompanying the fifteen minute song (by the same name). When I create music, my goal is less about achieving technical perfection or making it sound correct and more about conveying a feeling and telling a story. This is in stark contrast with my visual work, where I, all too often, try to endlessly perfect elements. Back in 2020 I already envisioned creating an animated version of the piece then, but I just couldn`t find the right time. Now I finally decided that this would be the perfect work to try and finish for my first entry into the exiting new world of NFT. I have no idea where this will go but the fact that I finished this piece has already been a really rewarding experience to me :) Now available on Foundation.
