We've got a sweet spot for the shop: when Mark started making doughnuts from his apartment on Ludlow Street (just around the corner from the classic candy shop at 108 Rivington), Doughnut Plant was a one-man operation that required him to go to sleep at 8pm and wake up at 11pm to start making the doughnuts before delivering them on his bicycle to various shops all over NYC.
