It was a Fashion Show with a difference on Saturday for the @designessentialsuk Education Team as we supported a great cause styling the hair of the beautiful ladies who were models for the Touch of Teal Show 2022. Back from a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic and organised by the beautiful Adele Sewell year-on-year for the past 11 years to raise awareness and funds for the ovarian cancer @ovacomecharity, each year the DE Team takes pride in supporting this event and helping the models to feel confident to take to the stage and for this worthy cause. All the Models, and the organiser Adele herself, are either sufferers or survivors of ovarian cancer, and despite this their gracious execution of this event is to be admired and applauded. @designessentialsuk will continue to support this charity and help to raise awareness of this cause by appealing to everyone to look out for the signs of this type of cancer, which is not talked about enough. The signs to look for to ‘B.E.A.T.’ ovarian cancer are: B - Bloating That doesn’t come and go E - Eating difficulty and feeling full more quickly A - Abdominal and pelvic pain you feel most days T - Toilet changes in urinating or bowel habits All hair was styled using the @designessentialspro_intl products by team members Carole Davis @goldscissors_, Tamara Robinson @tee_hair_ffions_, Joan Lee Daye @joanleedaye & Monique Leslie @eachstrand.
