More than 8 million tones of plastic enters our planet’s oceans every year, and over 90% of them are single-use plastics that are made to be used for super short periods of time before being tossed to oblivion. The impact of plastic waste on the environment and our health has drastically worsened over the years. If we were to emphasize the outcome of this consumption; only 9% of all plastic will be recycled and the rest will end up in our oceans.
