Lately I have started to feel like barbering (hair in general) was slowly becoming something I had lost my passion for. I have been in the hair industry a long time and to be honest I started my career a little backwards as I was doing shows, seminars and session work from a young age. I was working as apart of the TIGI creative team alongside some of the best hair stylists in the world and then went onto become Global creative styling director for Lynx/Axe. I have cut and styled numerous famous faces (some you will see on this page) and I have even become an author of a book (mental). I have achieved so much and still I suffer from imposter syndrome, I tell myself “you’re going to get found out” “everyone is going to see how shit you really are one day” when in reality I am fucking good at what I do, one of the best in my opinion. So with that said, I have really been trying my hardest to think about what makes me happy. My belief is that teaching others without ego has always been what I am best at. Education is what I do best. Wether it is teaching a group, one to one or its teaching other barbers/hairdressers how to present on stage. I haven’t done anything education related for so long I now feel it’s time to come back and share my knowledge so keep an eye out as I will be posting some reels and videos soon with further information. ——————————————— #thelondonbarber #education #londonbarber #hair #barbering #hairdressing #haircut ——————————————— 📸 @aris_akritidis
