I’ve been seeing The Last Housekeeper by Freida McFadden all over Instagram and TikTok. A few friends recommended it to me, so I decided to pick it up! 📖: Millie, a housekeeper, works for the wealthy Winchester family and starts to notice strange behavior in the household. As she gets closer to the family, she discovers dark secrets and realizes she’s in danger, needing to rely on her own strength to survive. 💭: This book gave me The Last Mrs. Parrish and The Wife Between Us vibes! Domestic thrillers are my catnip and I ended up binging this in just one day. It’s one of those wildly entertaining thrillers though some parts are a bit unrealistic. While I guessed a few of the twists, I loved how engaging Freida’s writing style was. This is definitely a book where going in knowing as little as possible makes for the best experience.
