POV: You ride the longest toboggan run in Switzerland 🛷 One of our top things we had on our must-do in Switzerland list was Mount Pilatus. Located outside of Lucerne, Mount Pilates is home to the longest summer toboggan run, multiple zip lines, a mountain top rope park, cafes, and more. All this while being serenaded by cow bells and with epic view of the alps. It’s the ultimate nature playground, absolutely magical, and a wonderful spot for kids. Heads up: To access the mountain you need to take a (slightly terrifying) 20 min gondola ride up the mountain. It was well worth it. TIP: the line for the toboggan can get LONG, typically up to 3-4 hours. We had a mixed bag of weather the day we visited and because of this we only had to wait about 30 mins.
