Audios. a musical ode to the Valley. Through the backroads of the south eastern side of the San Joaquin. I began taking this route back home to LA as an alternative to the 99. Starting with a cruise through Yokohl Valley, up over Rocky Hill into Exeter and then down past Porterville and Lindsey to connect back with the 99 in Bakersfield. It is a far more beautiful and relaxing route and it’s where I did a lot of editing in my head of the book. I started strumming this song on a guitar after arriving home one evening, and it turned into this. Audios. This Video was my best interpretation of what I was seeing out of my windshield and inside my head on my trips back home from the Valley, and it has ultimately become a little slide show for the book.
