Its just so surreal feeling because I remembered picking up my white key tag and i told myself then— I was going to stick around long enough to get the black key tag and i did that but i’ve gained so much during the process. Those cliches about recovery — like it works if you work it, they are all true, as cheesy as they might sound. You have to put the work in. But having an encounter with the Lord is what gave me the strength to bust my butt and continue to set goals for myself and hold myself accountable to reaching those goals. This is so special to me!
