We’re right on the cusp of sweater weather and just about ready to trade in our cold brew for cozy fall drinks. Cofounder @jdonenfeld shows us how to make The Culinistas version of the beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte.
Surprise, surprise: there’s nothing “pumpkin” about this drink—the secret is in the spices! Mix ground ginger, cinnamon, whole cardamom pods, Chinese 5 spice mix, and black pepper with maple syrup. Add that to your favorite mug with a shot of espresso (or some really strong coffee). Heat and froth a cup of milk (whole milk works best for extra frothiness) and top off the espresso in your mug. 🍂
