This is Dotty. She’s an almost 40 year retired school teacher and employee at Disney World in Orlando Florida. Dotty is an avid Fox News watcher and (I asked her) we took this selfie together. Dotty loves this country and cares deeply about politics. She works for Disney because she loves more than anything, seeing a smile on children’s faces (even grown ones). She didn’t give up on a company and an idea that is as American as apple pie simply because it’s current generation of leadership is inarguably in opposition of her personal beliefs. Instead, she’s standing her ground. Making sure her POV is present, and handing out smiles in the mean time. Disney was here before “wokeness” and it’ll be here after it’s gone. Im not fair weathered, or of a weak spine. My conservative family loves the epicenter of childish imagination. We bring our values and beliefs on vacation with us, and try to leave a little common sense pixie dust of our own as we go.
