This sun-soaked progression of volumes might look as if it were plucked straight from Louis Kahn’s files, but it’s actually a minimalist island vacation home for Swiss-born architect Christina Seilern (@studioseilern). With herself as the client, Seilern turned to the dialogue between nature and history for inspiration. The three rectilinear, flat-roofed structures that make up the home flow into each other via exterior corridors and are reminiscent of medieval examples in the area, with sharp edges replacing rounded ones.
