HAITI, 2022 on film Port-au-prince to be exact ... Happy Haitian flag day to our pretty Haiti. Already missing you & excited for changes ... A MUST ! Being Haitian has taught us to simply continue with faith & be grateful because at any time it could always be tèt anba ! It took strength & God to travel exactly to where we were “Sou dales” zone “Champs de Mars” very close to “legliz Bolosse” & “lékòl Maranatha” which isn’t a school anymore (couldn’t even visit the promises) & we could hear Martisan couple blocks away & ooooh only God knows ! We experienced so much, from the goods to the not so goods but Haiti is home, it is courage & it takes heart to keep reaching ! Ps: We can’t forget of our HOME regardless of where we are in the world ! We’ve never even seen pictures that really describes or portrays the current state of the country ... We just use imaginations. Our flight had less than 30 people & everyone was scared because of where we were going to stay which wasn’t outside of the capital but one important fact is the whole family lives & survives Port-Au-Prince everyday & who tf are we to not go to grandpa’s house, the house who raised us & still standing after a lifetime?? ... We cannot wait for our next trip because so much has to be talked about & as scary things might be, we all know there isn’t another place like Haiti ! 🇭🇹🖤 We’ve waited years to capture our own essence of Haiti.
