And just like that, attending 4 out of the 5 shows for Cowboy Carter were a success. This past week felt like nothing short of a dream come true. From partying with @parkwood , @yvettenoelschure & @sirdavis to Kick Off their MetLife Leg, to working with my incredible Stylist @mickeyboooom for 2 Custom Looks designed by the extremely talented @jovanalouis , to meeting sooo many of my amazing supporters who have uplifted me in ways I can’t begin to express. My heart has been bursting with gratitude and I have each and everyone of you to Thank 💙🫂💙 So the age old question, “O’Neil, why did you go to the Cowboy Carter Tour 4 times?!” To put it plainly... when Greatness is in front you, you seize the moment and embrace the experience. Beyoncé is far more than an artist to me. She’s a Visionary, a Monolith, a Living Legend. She makes a 3 Hour Show while singing Live and dancing her heart out Look Easy and Effortless. Her artistry alone is a true spectacle. And being surrounded in a Stadium of 80,000 people all sharing the same love and admiration for art shows the beauty in community on the highest level. I was also blessed to share this experience with my Loved ones who never got to experience a Beyoncé concert in person and they all left the Stadium feeling exactly how I felt the first time I saw her during the first On The Run tour. I leave her shows feeling Inspired, Liberated, Seen, Heard, Valued & Proud as Hell to be Black! We get to live in a world where a Black Woman is the most decorated Superstar of our time which she handles with grace and fortitude. This Tour is about reclamation, ownership and having the AUDACITY to take up space. Thank you @beyonce & @parkwood for taking us into the World of The Cowboy Carter Rodeo Chitlin Circuit. This show is a feat that must be seen in person if possible.
