New kitchen bookshelves and I love how they've turned out! I've also taken off all the scrappy torn dust jackets from my cookbooks so they temporarily look new again - which will probably turn out to be a terrible idea when they're all stained with cake batter and turmeric, but for the moment they look great!
This is the cream of my cookbook selection (I have another shelf in the hallway with the books I don't use as much) and the space on the top shelf is awaiting @jamieoliver 's new One which is coming tomorrow!
@nigellalawson is the cookery writer with most books in my "essential" shelf (I think I have seven of hers here?) and @missminifer's Green Roasting Tin is probably the book I'm cooking from most at the moment.
I've also recently rediscovered @nigelslater's brilliant 30 Minute Cook which I bought in 1998, and was a staple of my early cooking attempts at university and when I got my first job. Nearly 25 years later it's still brilliant!
Do you spy any of your favourite cookery books here? Who's on your "essential recipes" shelf?
