Mikaela wasn't worried about the pea-sized lump in her breast at first. She was only 26, a former college lacrosse player, and was in perfect health otherwise. So she was blindsided when it turned out to be invasive ductal carcinoma, the most common form of breast cancer. Mikaela is now disease-free after treatment. But her experience as a young woman with cancer, as well as her sister Marguerite's ovarian cancer diagnosis the year before, made her want to give back and support others going through the same thing. Mikaela, Marguerite, and their other sister Morgayne started @ForAllWhoFight, a nonprofit to raise money and awareness for breast cancer and ovarian cancer research.
