My parents have flown to London to see us so my sisters and I threw them a lunch party to celebrate their Pearl anniversary (30 years of marriage) at @galvinbistrot ✨Lots of talks, wine and a deadly shot of sambuca made it a very memorable day. Yesterday, just two days before they’re supposed to fly back to Hong Kong, they’ve both tested positive. It’s been really hard for them as they’ve been trying to rebook flights and a quarantine hotel as you still need to quarantine in Hong Kong for one week after any flight but everything has been booked out. Testing positive is hard in any case but it’s a nightmare for them as they are abroad, have careers they need to get to and can’t afford to spend any more time off. Plus, it’s expensive.
