This past thanksgiving has been a ultra special one, for several reasons.. first being, this was Jett’s first thanksgiving and although he did not partake in the eating of the thanksgiving foods, his presence made my heart jump! And secondly.. I had the honor of making the Mac and cheese and greens 😆 me, the non cooking aussie that is typically directed to fold the napkins at Thanksgiving 😭 T’was a massive feat, and one I rose too 😂 The other aussie, my sister, made the yams and they were a hit! Looked like a mess, but were inhaled nonetheless! Haha Good job, sis. 😉 Guy fried the turkey, and wow, yum! Team fry the turkey for life!! The irony, I’m not the type to celebrate Thanksgiving but I have every reason to be grateful, and use the day as an opportunity to bask in gratitude, for this amazing family I have.
