5 months ago, I left the hospital holding my whole world inside of my arms... I have barely put you down since and even though my shoulders, wrists and back may ache from it at times, I miss you when I lay you down to sleep at night and I know one day you’ll get too big for me to carry. So holding you close, heart to heart for as long as I can now, savouring every single moment, for myself but also so you know how love, trust and safety truly feels. Having it deeply rooted within you early on, hoping you never have to search for it outside of yourself later. Xx
