hi. so i was a HUUUUGE fan of this show Resident Alien last year. what? sci fi alien comedy drama murder mystery?!? RUN DONT WALK FRIEND! and somehow i got the opportunity to write for the show in season 2. i was losing my mind, never thot anything like that would happen. and THEN my boss @thegrainroom asked if i would play a character in my episode. i absolutely REFUSED for the longest time. that’s not my job! writing is my job! its the thing i’m good at. but eventually he wore me down and i agreed to be a dumb character on this stupid show i love lol. so it’s happening tonight 9pm on syfy, not only is it an episode i wrote—i have a v small but memorable role as Drew, a queer ndn weirdo ho who finds a little comfort in the weirdo alien Harry Vanderspeigle. thanks for making me do this Chris, and thanks to the wonderful cast and crew who made three life changing weeks in vancouver feel like home. im never gonna be the same and that feels right. thanks @_sarah_podemski_ for documenting much of this time!
