I wrote this a couple of years ago, alongside all the other diary entries I’m yet to pluck up the courage to share. I wanted to go back to my roots and create a video that helped express myself visually; to tell a story with raw & unfiltered words, using film to portray them. Sharing videos like these puts me in a vulnerable position, but I get a high from letting go. I share experiences so personal, with the hope that others can find comfort knowing they are not alone. So if when watching this, you felt any emotion or connected with it at all, then my job is done. To evoke emotion through my work is what drives me to keep going.
