On our cabin getaway last week I brought with me some art materials. My goal was to do watercolor, gouache and colored pencils drawings while we were there. I achieved all three paintings/drawings. 😝🙌🏼✨ I’ve been in a little bit of a rut with my drawings and this surprised trip from my husband was just the trick! 1: we have never spent money on a fancy place to stay and 2: we haven’t had pure alone time away from the internet in a while. 🌲 Summertime is when we spend the most time away from the internet. We hike, I paint, he reads, we hike with our couples (@morevananything is our photo biz). So this trip in the springtime was perfect! 🌸 I also was gifted by @princetonbrush a travel watercolor brush that I am obsessed with! I’ve bent too many bristles so this travel sized came in the mail just in time! Thanks @princetonbrush 🙌🏼 And as always, I tag the peeps who make the amazing tools and things I use in the photos.
