5/9. This series stirs in me so many feelings of warmth and comfort. @brightjennycoffee is the perfect space for any and every human that is looking for an inclusive and inspiring place to create, collaborate and enjoy an incredible cup of craft coffee. The local artisan roots of @brightjennycoffee is an incredible story. Founded with the lake inspired name Canoe Coffee Roasters it stole my heart at the local @kelownafarmersmarket many eons ago. They eventually re-branded and cleverly re-named the shop @brightjennycoffee. The design aesthetic is on point, reminding me of a carefully curated art gallery. Each insta-ready room has a different vibe and depending on your mood you can pick and choose your seating accordingly. As a millennial and proud Gen Zer I continuously smile when I walk by the restroom and see their mermaid sign on the door along with the "It's Cool to Be Kind" poster. It also happens to be the one and only coffee shop I will spend over 20 minutes walking to in the middle of the summer with my fur baby when she wants to "come to work" with mom because it's the only patio with enough shade for us to sit together outside for hours on end. A collage of nine photos from the work inspired shoot @jrosehunter and I did on-site at the Bright Lab for our personal websites with @aidanfedds last summer coming to my grid soon(ish). Thank you @brightjennycoffee for making the Okanagan a more inclusive, connected, creative and craft coffee fuelled space, xo.
