If you’re new here, welcome to my page!🫶🏻 I’ve noticed many new faces recently, especially with everything happening on TT and the uncertainty around the app. So, I thought now would be the perfect time to reintroduce myself! It’s been a while, so let’s dive in☺️ My name is Ana, and I’m originally from Spain🇪🇸, but I’ve been living in the U.S. for the past 11 years🇺🇸 I moved here as a student-athlete with the plan to stay for four years, earn my degree, and head back to Spain. But, as life often does, it had other plans! While studying in the U.S., I met my husband, Matt @coachsleeve , who is an American football coach. We got married in my hometown of Valencia, Spain, and now we’re the proud parents of two amazing little girls. Because of Matt’s job, we’ve moved several times, living in Ohio, New York, and now Kansas. Before starting my journey on social media, I worked as an Academic Performance Specialist, taught Spanish at the University at Buffalo👩🏻‍🏫, and also worked as an interpreter! I never imagined I’d be in the U.S. for more than four years, let alone become a US citizen🗽 (I still can’t believe it most times lol), but here I am, over a decade later, learning, growing, and adapting every day💖 Living abroad has been such an incredible experience, (ok and sometimes hard and lonely...)especially as I’ve had to adapt to a culture so different from the one I grew up in. That’s what inspired me to start sharing my journey online and talk about life here in the US, cultural differences between Spain and the US, what it’s like to be a mom raising kids abroad and the struggles that come with it, our travels, and our adventures as a football family🏈 I’m so happy you’re here to share this journey with me🎉Your love and support mean the world, and I’m endlessly grateful for this community.
