Poetry in motion with Yoann Bourgeois French choreographer @yoann_bourgeois has revolutionised dance with his acrobatic sensibilities and gravity-defying performances. An expert in trampoline, his poetic works depict a fascination with gravity through installations that defy the forces of physical strength. Bourgeois was trained at the Centre National des Arts du Cirque and in dance at the Centre National de Danse Contemporaine before founding his eponymous troupe and being appointed director of the Centre Chorégraphique National de Grenoble. In January, he choreographed acrobats to effortlessly float on a never ending staircase at Louis Vuitton’s FW22 mens show. The spellbinding performance was thanks to his collaboration with Virgil Abloh before the designers passing. Bourgeois has also choreographed music videos for star performers like Harry Styles as well as directing his own films like the award winning ‘Great Ghosts’
