I’m going to do better at sharing my workouts starting right now💪🏼
Since getting my XS1 @oxefit (I’ve been an investor for a while now) I finally have gotten my consistency back - I mean it’s literally in my home office...convenience💯
I’m obsessed with being able to workout barefoot it make me feel my balance (something I’m working on rn) + the privacy and peace of not leaving the house is🤌🏼
These are my top 4 exercises of the week I also took some @oxefit classes you might spot the @triyotriplets 👋🏼
1. Front squats - I feel like these are great for anyone whose apprehensive of barbells but wants some resistance I warmed up with 15lbs and worked my way upto 50lbs with 3 sets of 15 reps
2. Back squat - I mean I don’t feel like I’ve worked out if at some point in the week I don’t get some barbell squats in it’s one of the fundamental exercises that change my whole view of working out and with not going to the gym in years I’m ready to get back upto to PB of 175lbs and honestly the fact that this home gym machine (XS1) has a virtual spotter is going to make that much safer and easier🫶🏼
3. Single leg Russian deadlifts (RDL) - Wow I noticed a huge difference in my balance as it’s been so long so I’m definitely going to be incorporating more of these into my workouts! I feel like as much as we want to do the things we are “good” at focusing on the areas we aren’t can really help everything else too whereas ignoring them is neglecting an area of improvement
4. Ski cross - As much as cardio isn’t my jam I’m obsessed with ski cross it’s got to be the most fun way to get your heart rate up I love doing intervals 30 secs on as fast as you can - I was at resistance 10 - then 10 secs off and go again I started off with 2 mins total which doesn’t seem long but in between strength sets it’s a killa in a good way😝
Aiming to share my fave moves of the week every week but also if you’re reading this and you’re thinking I’m too exhausted to move - don’t - listen to your body rest up and when you’re ready be gentle & follow your bodies lead. What I will say is even 15mins on my XS1 has boosted my non existent energy + improved my sleep🙌🏼
