Long post ahead! Friends, I am both exhausted and overwhelmed with joy. The past few weeks have been incredibly busy, and while I’m sad to see it all come to an end, I’m so grateful it happened. I want to give a special thanks to @windishentertainment and @michaelwindish for the opportunity to music direct The Snots at Valley Fair! It’s truly an honor to be part of such a talented and driven team. A shout-out to @brandyricebailey and the crew at Valley Fair as well. These productions wouldn’t come to life without the dedication and passion of so many hardworking people. I’m thankful for the new connections I’ve made and for the privilege of calling some of you my friends. Your hard work is deeply appreciated. Over the years, as I’ve taught marching percussion, I’ve often told my students that the road to success isn’t a straight line, it zigzags. Viewing success as a destination only limits your growth and sets you up for disappointment. Now more than ever, I see how true that is. As I reflect on the years of odd jobs, random gigs, and the various paths my career has taken, I realize that all these moments have led to something special.
