Okay friends, I’m going to get a little raw here 🤪 : Those who have known or followed me for a while, know my love for conversations over a colorful meal and drink pairing - hence my side project @table_fortwenty. My adaption toward clean eating started when I was 14 and was told I am sensitive to pretty much everything I was eating (TMI but sometimes I would go two weeks without going no. 2 and that is NO bueno). At the time I was working with some of the top nutritionists in the country to help me better understand my food, my gut, and hormones, just my overall health. Through these years I’ve healed my gut through fermentation of foods; I owe my glowing skin to dark leafy greens; my hormone levels are always a journey but I’ve learned how to manage them through herbs; I’m not afraid of carbs anymore - in fact my body LOVES carbs, just all in moderation. I am 30 and feel better than ever. The reason for this rant is not only to talk about my journey with my body, but to let my followers know how vital plant food is for us and the freaking magic they are. Okay so from here on out you’ll see me posting more of the meals I cook, bake, blend, chop, juice, forage, etc. I want to take you with me as I continue my health journey and hopefully I can play a small, but big part in yours. PSA: These are all recipes I’ve created over the years of trial and error. A lot of weed was involved in the process 🫶🏼💨
