Struck by Elso’s keen corporeal awareness throughout his practice, McClodden felt emboldened to revisit her own bodily memory. In the film, McClodden dons a hand-welded protective chain mail suit as she gives shape to the physical sensations she experienced during her initiation into La Regla Lucumí in 2012.
