Summer’s just around the corner and today it felt especially so. After work, a new battery was put in the lawnmower and a walk with the dogs soon followed (Milo, seen here, wild-eyed and beard wet from drinking out of the creek). Tonight’s dinner is a few pieces of chicken thrown on the grill, a salad slapped together with white beans and tomatoes. Dessert is a yoghurt cake with berries. I’ll listen to some Norwegian radio to practice a bit, or maybe an old Dick Cavett interview to mingle with the occasional car whose engine hums, passing right through the screen door, left open so the cats can watch the occasional sleepy moth float by the porch light.
