Looking forward to a very special conversation this Wednesday. I first met @janiceyklee many years ago, after reading an interview with her in a magazine when I was sitting in a doctor’s office in Korea. I tore it out and showed it to my mother – and my mom said “Oh, your dad was the MC at her Korean wedding!” 🤯 Throughout the years, Janice has been so generous with her time and encouragement and advice, which I treasure all the more because of how much I respect her incredible writing. The amazing Theresa Park, who should really have her own documentary about her fascinating career, will be moderating, and this will be my second time on a panel with the blockbuster @njooyounkim whose essay about her father “North South East West” in LA Review of Books recently sliced my heart and made me cry. Thank you to the Council of Korean Americans for inviting us, See you Wed! . . Repost from Council of Korean Americans: .
